Repairs for TVs that switch on normally but show a blank or black screen, at homes and businesses.
This fault is fairly easy to recognise.
A blank screen with the TV otherwise running usually points to one of these, all somewhere along the path between the main board and the panel.
We test the signal path from the main board through to the panel to narrow down where the fault sits, rather than replacing parts one at a time. This includes checking cable connections, the T-con board and the panel itself using proper test equipment. Depending on what we find, we reseat or replace damaged cables, replace a faulty T-con board, or repair the main board using new components where a specific part has failed. Menu boards and foyer screens in business premises fail in exactly the same ways, and we diagnose them with the same process.
Initial diagnosis, checking cables and confirming where in the signal path the fault lies, can often be done during a call-out to your home or business. If the fault needs bench repair, we collect your TV, repair it, and return it to you. We will only know which applies to your TV once it has been properly diagnosed, and will talk you through the options at that point.
